Woman crashes into DMV building during driving test

Not all would-be drivers ace their road tests on the first try, of course. But Nita Sureka hit a brick wall in her quest to obtain a driver’s license. Quite literally.

Sureka was demonstrating her parking prowess when she drove her 2000 Volkswagen Jetta into the side of the Department of Motor Vehicles.

The incident Saturday morning forced the center to close, and it remained closed yesterday. For Sureka, 28, a financial consultant from Ashburn, flunking her first driving test could be the least of her worries. Leesburg police charged her with reckless driving. » Article here
