Living with nothing but FedEx Furniture?

So there is crazy…and then there is border-line nuts. This is nuts. This guy has managed to live in a house with furniture all built out of empty FedEx Boxes. The furniture is all held together by FedEx packaging supplies. He claims that all of the furniture is 100% functional.

“The couch is standing/sleeping approved, I sleep on the bed every night, I eat at the dining table, and I work at the desk almost 20 hours a day.”

This s**t is bananas. This guy is B-A-N-A-N-A-S (I know its extremely cliché… but it is fitting). I don’t know why anyone would want to even attempt to live like this. However- the guy is on a limited budget, and FedEx sends you boxes for free. Some times temporary insanity makes a lot of sense. Check out the pictures below, then the website.

Woahhhh...I say that's taking it a bit too far. Geez! Has he never even heard of the GoodWill store or the Salvation Army? Garage sales? I bought CHEAP but functional furniture for 4 bucks at places like that. Geez!

Boxes as sturdy as bedroom furniture? You would think that Fed Ex would be all over this kid with a marketing campaign. Not suing him. He's a genius in my book! Plus, I'll be shipping with FedEx from now on.

Does anyone know what the NHS and Bupa do with all their old hospital furniture? They must auction it off somewhere.
I work for a theatre and we need for some new props for a hospital based play by the way.

I found your blog rather interesting and even more useful. You were talking about shipping options. At the present time, they are very numerous and diverse. However, I think that fedex would be a good choice, since they offer better conditions to the clients compared to other shipping companies, like UPS or DHL, for example. I have also found from http://www.pissedconsumer.com that fedex offer free delivery services in certain cases.
