Pictures of a $150,000 wedding...

This past weekend I attended a wedding. The wedding was amazing (it probably cost well over $150,000 to host)! The photographer for the wedding posted pictures on his website…so I’d thought I’d share. You’ll notice the bottom 3 pictures are of the “garter toss.” Funny story about this- one of the groom’s friends decided to throw in the air…one of the children to try and catch the garter. Bad idea. He was drunk + low-level lighting + not really thinking clearly = disaster. Look at the pictures to see what happened. Rest assured, the kid was ok, and he wasn’t hurt at all. I will note, it was one of those priceless moments in life in which “an awkward eerie feeling” was sensed by everyone at the wedding right when it happened. It was one of those “record scratch” moments in which all 100+ guests got quiet and just stood in shock. In retrospect, it’s good that the child wasn’t hurt- and we can all look back and laugh.
