Eye gazing dating... totally the new fad out

The latest trend is eye-gazing parties, where you're paired with someone and you sit and gaze into the person's eyes for three minutes before moving on to the next person. No talking allowed!

After 45 minutes of this, everyone gets up to mingle and dance. The idea behind this concept, started by 28-year-old Michael Ellsberg, is to cut out the awkward small talk and brainless banter, and instead create intimacy.

Yeah- uh- I’m really not sure how effective this is in ‘pairing’ a compatible couple together. I mean think about it, talking/speech is something like 75% of the way we communicate?
