American Idol might fire Paula Abdul...

Reports are saying that American Idol producers came close to firing judge Paula Abdul earlier this month, and still may do it. They are thinking about having Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson replace her. The producers couldn't handle Abdul's erratic behavior.
A source tells Us Weekly: "Paula was being very difficult. (She was) crying all the time and arriving late for meetings." About the replacement: "(They) liked Jessica (Simpson) a lot. And some were pushing for Britney (Spears)."

I think at this point, no one really cares what any of the judges say on American Idol. We all know they just say what the audience wants to hear. None of which is their real honest opinion. However, the show in my opinion is still entertaining- in small doses. I do find myself hitting the mute button every once and a while.

Heaven help us if Britney Spears replaces Paula Abdul. To me, that would be a ‘step-down’. Britney Spears can’t sing. She never could. Jessica might be a little-tincy-wincy more credible than Britney. Only because she can sing. But she still sucks. Whatever. I’ve wasted enough of my life thinking about this already. I don't even really care.
