Dude choked at car wash for not cleaning tires?

A man who felt the wheels of his 2005 Monte Carlo weren't scrubbed properly grabbed a car wash supervisor and choked him until he passed out, according to police and the business owner.

Dino Dizeo, 43, became enraged when he noticed that the tire brushes had not been switched on when his car went through the Southway Car Wash. Supervisor Rocco Ktenas explained that the brushes are only used for whitewall tires and that Dizeo's wheels had been cleaned manually, said Paul Ktenas, Rocky's father and the owner of the business.

"He offered to give him a discount," Paul Ktenas said. "From there it just snowballed." He said Dizeo told Rocky Ktenas, "I don't want to hear any of your s---" and grabbed the 25-year-old Lemont man by the throat as he walked away.

Witnesses told police that Rocky Ktenas' face turned purple as he tried to break free. He passed out while Dizeo had him in a headlock, Will County sheriff's police spokesman Pat Barry said. Dizeo also left without paying for his $17.99 deluxe wash, Paul Ktenas said.

Dizeo later was arrested and charged with a felony count of aggravated battery. He's free on $10,000 bail. Article here.
