How often do you read Across-the-Board? Tell me.

I have been debating if I should cut back on blogging to every other day... so I decided to take a vote to see how often you guys check out Across-the-Board. Vote below. Thanks in advance for your time!

Best,

Every day.

Be aware of that once you decided to slack a bit, it becomes tempting to slack a bit more...

It's one of my first visits everyday. I can understand the need to cut back, I'm sure this takes a lot of your time.

BUT, if you cut back to every other day, you'll have to give us twice as many things to look at across the board when you do post. I mean, what else are we going to do?

I think I check it more often since we met on the target parkinglot (no homo).

It's in my RSS feed, so basically as soon as I see it updated in Bloglines

It's going to be hard to get an accurate result in your poll. If someone falls into the once/week or month category they're likely to not vote imediately.

konevik... you are generally right -- however, I will get an accurate sense of the "every day" and "every other day" visitors.

Good point though. :)

I read daily and love your blog, Ramsey. I understand that it's time consuming to blog as much as you do, but we all love it! :-)

I say keep the posting coming!

It aint easy to blog every day..but it's easier to take a day here or there than to force it everyday. So.. stick with everyday, but don't kill yourself if you decide you won't wanna post on a Wednesday. You've got a fun blog, I read it every day. I cry a little when there is no update, but I figure you probably need to unplug occasionally. much love homeslice.

you didn't have a an option that said more than once a day so I just had to pick every day.

I honestly think you should put some more advertising on the site to justify the time you're putting into it.

Read this:

One of my favorite blogs, very inspiring for many reasons.

There are many ways you can monetize your website without "selling out"

to be honest, every second day (i forget the other day, too tired in the mornings). between this and spluch.blogspot, i've got all the entertainment and reading i need.

I used to read it everyday... although I never found some of the frat boy "lowest common denominator" humor enjoyable.

However, once you began posting only your ego stroke video blogs I removed your bookmark from my favorites... Now I only check it once a month... at most.

joecoolest -- sorry to hear you don't enjoy the blog as much as you used to. The format and content of the blog has pretty much stayed the same over the years, so I'm unsure on how I've lost you as a reader?

I just don't care for the video blog only posts that seemed to be increasing in frequency. My wife and I commented on this to each other when we were sharing a link on your site.

I suppose we have less interest in the blogger than we do in the blog content. The video blogs seem to be a follow me (the blogger) out on the weekend kind of thing... which has absolutely no appeal to us.

It got to the point whenever I visited your blog and saw a "video" of yours as the first post for days on end I would just click away immediately. This came to mind recently when I was housekeeping my blog bookmarks.

By no means let me disuade you from continuing your video blogging if it provides you with satisfaction. I was merely providing feedback.

joecoolest, I do really appreciate your feedback. Anytime I can get a good sense of "on the ground" opinions from my readers, good or bad is always appreciated. I'm always look to make improvements. Much thanks.

My blog has a lot of audiences -- and while my video blog content isn't directly in-line with the type of consistent content I post, what I do hope it presents to my readers in a humanized perspective to the person behind the blog. It's a unique aspect that I believe connects with my readers, rather than just viewing Across-the-Board as a site that churns out post after post.

I love your page and enjoy reading the blogs you post. The videos you post do help me as I can see who is posting them and kind of get a feel for the page. It is much more for me than reading CNN.com or something like that. You can see who posts the blogs and it shows you are a laid back, fun, out-going person rather than a stuck up macho man ;)

Keep it up. I love it!
