Food & Baseball

Today I decided to take a trip to my hometown…Springfield, MO. My sister and I decided to go to a game, Springfield Cardinals, our new minor league baseball team. The team is apart of the St. Louis farming system (recruiting for the major leagues). Side note: I’ve found baseball games are great to catch-up with people you haven’t seen for a while and hold great conversation with friends and family, and have a great time watching baseball as well.

Anyways, the best part of this stadium however, the section we sat at (not box seats) provided wrist bands for all who held tickets within the section, which allowed you to order whatever you wanted from the concession stands…with no quantity/time limit what-so-ever. I was so impressed by this marketing scheme (obviously…I posted it on my blog). Even though they lost (5-2 to Midland), I’ll probably be going back with the ol’ parents for the good food…I mean baseball again.

Lindsay Lohan...revealed

First off, I’m not one to ever care about gossip about celebrities…but every once in a while you wonder, what the heck is really going on. Awhile back one of my good friends was visiting L.A. and came across an interesting situation. While walking on Rodeo Drive she found a wallet. She tried looking for some ID…and it was Lindsay Lohan’s! After looking through the wallet, she found (what appeared to be) cocaine in the wallet. Of course being street smart, she called [insert major gossip magazine name here, hint: it has two letters in the first word] to possibly make some money before returning the wallet. The magazine was then offering thousands of dollars so they could do a story on it. She then received a call from Lohan’s agent (who was furious) claiming he would sue if she sold the wallet to anyone.

Point of my story, most people have been commenting they feel Lindsay is becoming anorexic… based on my friend's true story I think the public is just misinformed -- its amazing what a little cocaine can do to you.

Talk about an Atomosphere...

Couldn't resist posting these pictures of the Hilton Maldives Resort Restaurant. The only all-glass undersea restaurant in the world, actually places you five meters below the surface, smack dab in the middle of the Indian Ocean. You sit five meters below the waves of the Indian Ocean, surrounded by a vibrant coral reef and encased in clear acrylic offering diners 270-degrees of panoramic underwater views.

I'm guessing $$$ per plate is right arm & a leg.

New Coldplay Album...

Like many people, I'm a fan of Coldplay. No doubt, many people in the industry have been anticipating this new release (X&Y) the entire year. Listen/Stream the new Coldplay in its entirety before it hits stores. I kind of have mixed feelings on the album. Their signature sound still remains (I kind of wished it would have matured more), but their lyrics have definitely matured to a new level. Worth a listen, if not the purchase. Don't get me wrong, I love Coldplay (maybe I was expecting more), as a group the reason why their music is great is because of the simplicity of their sound- yet perfect in capturing the pure emotion of the lyrics/meaning of the song.

The band tried to stump fans when they launched the artwork for the eagerly awaited new album.

It has been discovered that the actual blocks are graphical representations loosely based on a binary code known as 'Baudot', which generates a base5 binary representations for each letter or character in the western alphabet.
