FEMA's main goal is DISASTER?

Check out this graphic that is posted on the FEMA website (for those of you don't know who they are, FEMA is [Federal Emergency Management Agency] an independent agency reporting to the President and tasked to planning for, recovering from, and mitigating against disaster.

Anyways, this graphic is posted on the
FEMA website and is located on the “What We Do” page. This illustration is supposed to show the life cycle of the organization. If this in fact true- take a look at where the arrow starts and ends back up at…DISASTER! So is the goal of FEMA to cycle everything back to disaster!?! All of their organizing efforts = DISASTER? What the hell?

If this graphic is truly representative of their goal as a government organization…mission accomplished! Why the heck did they fire
Michael Brown? With all the buzz in the news going on about FEMA, they probably should look into revising this graphic if you ask me.

Don’t believe me? Click here to see the graphic actually posted on the government website.

Stick Figures are fun to look at...

Check out these animations of stick figures. What’s pretty cool about this is that each stick figure has a continuous pattern they car repeating. What’s even cooler to think about...this image has been “wallpapered” and then “tiled.” Pretty cool stuff (even though I have no idea how the designer would have created this).
