You should meet my mother...

Naked dude arrested for concealed weapon

A man was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon after police found him outdoors naked and he told them he had a metal tool in his rectum.

The man was lying on a tree stump, masturbating beside a nature path, near a train station. John Sheehan, 33, of Pittsburg, was initially arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure. But when asked whether he was carrying anything police should know about, Sheehan mentioned the tool, said El Cerrito Detective Cpl. Don Horgan.

"You can't get much more concealed than that," Horgan said. Officers drew their weapons and firefighters were called to the scene. Sheehan removed a 6-inch metal awl wrapped in black electrical tape without incident.

Sheehan, who was paroled from state prison last week, was then booked into jail on suspicion of parole violations, indecent exposure and one felony count of possessing a concealed weapon.

"When you're talking about an awl or an ice pick and you're dealing with somebody who's fresh out of prison, it's a weapon. That's a stabbing instrument," Horgan said. Article here.

Doogie Howser is gay?

Neil Patrick Harris, who mostly known for playing Doogie Howser, admitted he is gay.

Harris told People magazine:"The public eye has always been kind to me, and until recently I have been able to live a pretty normal life. Now it seems there is speculation and interest in my private life and relationships. So, rather than ignore those who choose to publish their opinions without actually talking to me, I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest and feel most fortunate to be working with wonderful people in the business I love." Teen arrested for raping his mother? WTF?

Police say an Alabama teen raped his mother to get revenge on his brother. Police say 19-year-old Gary Helms, Jr., raped his 45-year-old mother this past weekend.

It's a twisted crime that police say Helms admits. "From what we understand the rape stemmed from an argument between him and his brother. And apparently they were arguing over a girlfriend. And the rape was some sort of retaliation towards his brother," said Sgt. Jamie Smith of the Albertville Police Department.

It was unusual retaliation on an unsuspecting victim. Authorities say Helms' mother was apparently passed out drunk on the couch when the rape started.

"During the attack she did come to and recognize her attacker. (Reporter: As her son?) As her son," said Smith. That's when, according to the police report, the mother "tried to get away, but he held her down until he was finished."

"It's totally sick is what it is," said Smith. Helms was arrested and charged with the 1st degree rape of his own mother. Helms is being held in the Marshall County Jail on $100,000 bond. Article here.

Cybersex gone terribly wrong

Student films himself having sex with teacher

An affair between a teacher and a pupil was uncovered when the boy's parents saw incriminating video footage on his mobile phone, a court has been told.

Birmingham drama teacher Rebecca Poole allegedly had sex with the 15-year-old in her car on up to seven occasions. Prosecutors said the boy filmed a further sex act "for posterity or for bragging rights".

Ms Poole, of May Lane, Hollywood, denies three counts of sexual activity with a child. Sally Hancox, prosecuting, told Birmingham Crown Court the relationship grew from being close and flirty to being inappropriate and unlawful in the autumn term of 2005.

While some would see it as every schoolboy's fantasy to have that kind of attention from a young, attractive member of staff, the relationship involved a serious abuse of trust, she added.

The court heard the boy "let it be known" the relationship was taking place, and as a result his parents became aware something was going on. When they questioned him and found the video footage on his mobile phone, they contacted the police.

During interviews, Ms Poole, who also denies one charge of abuse of trust with a child, denied having sexual relations with the teenager, but then admitted one incident occurred "under duress". Ms Hancox said Ms Poole told police the teenager had held a screwdriver to the back of her head but, said that it is not visible in the video. Article here.

Dude crashes car into house going 100 MPH

Eyewitnesses said they saw a man driving 100 miles an hour through a neighborhood right before he crashed into a house. Deputies said the driver had a reason to try to get away.

The sheriff's Office said 25-year-old Darren Pla had been stalking his girlfriend, even though he had been ordered to have no contact with her. Deputies got a tip that he would be at her house, located down the street.

Instead he ended up crashing into a house on Laredo Drive. The owners of the property were hoping to sell their home and move to South Carolina. Those plans changed late Sunday night when a car ended up at their door step.

"The wall is missing. The whole garage is gone," said homeowner Marisa Charity. Charity's two sons were about to get to bed when the driver of a rented Nissan Maxima veered off the road and slammed head-on into the garage. One of her sons said the impact felt like an earthquake.

Damage was estimated at around $30,000, but things could have been much worse. Article here.

One size fits most men?

Dudes can get breast cancer? I had no idea...

You hear lots of stories about breast cancer in women, but male breast cancer is not talked about as often. It affects about two thousand men each year and close to five hundred men die each year from cancer.

According to ABC4's medical expert Dr. Mobley, if you know the symptoms and catch it early, the chance for a cure can be high. However, there are many men that may be at risk and not even know it.

Three years ago, Bill Hepting was diagnosed with breast cancer at 79 years old. "It's a mystery. They say it's a woman's problem... it's not a man's problem, they don't think about those things, at all. But when you do, it's scary," said Hepting. "I had blood on the pillow and I didn't know where it came from and I noticed there was discharge on my right breast."

Hepting then went to the same mammogram machine used by millions of women each year. He had many of the traits associated with male breast cancer. According to his surgeon, Dr. Leigh Neumayer, the following is a classic description: "Frequently an older gentlemen, someone in their 60s, 70s and they usually present with this non-painful hard lump usually around their nipple or close thereof." Ironically, she said, it's the ones that aren't as painful that may end up being cancerous. Siding on safety, Dr. Neumayer performed a mastectomy, saying, "It's not only the thought of loosing a body part but also even if you're older, being confronted with your own mortality."

One out of one hundred cases occurs in men. If a man does find a painless lump, he should push his primary care physician for a specialist referral. Article here.
