M.J.'s White Glove is on clearance

Check out this auction for an item that is the signature trademark of the most famous person in the world, Michael Jackson. This is an auction for a glove that has over one thousand crystals. It is claimed to formerly been in the possession of Michael, and the person selling it on eBay purchased this glove from the estate of Grammy and Emmy award winning performer Sammy Davis, Jr. at an IRS seizure auction in 1992.

Now the kicker and irony of the whole situation is that the auction is for little kids. The money from the auction is being used for the
Support Our Students of Challis, Idaho.

The glove only costs $388,000.00. You get free shipping (how nice of them!).

Eva Longoria is hot, Mary-Kate is not.

So everyone was surprised and shocked with what Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) wore to present an award at the MTV VMA’s. I’m not exactly sure how this bathing suit is physically staying together…but then again fashion designers seem to be able to throw anything together for Hollywood stars now-a-days.

In completely unrelated news- Mary-Kate Olsen is the choice of Calvin Klein to become the face of his next “high-end” campaign. I still can’t decide if this is a great move by Calvin Klein. No one can deny that she’ll make waves because that is she’s an Olsen twin. [cue sappy music that is always played before the “lesson take-away” in every Full House episode] ...but I think I’ll continue to do what I’ve always done when the Olsen twins are on TV- change the channel.

What the heck is this guy doing?

Funny Online Chat Conversations...

I don't know about you- but I used to love talking in chat rooms online (I lost interest after SPAM’ers invaded every chat room known to man). It's amazing how humourous conversations can be online. On that note, I found this site that posts funny conversations taken from online Chat rooms. Check out some of the quotes I found on the site.

Check out this cool little game. It’s kind of like a computer version of Operation the board game- in the sense you cannot touch the walls or you get shocked and you die. Click the image to launch the game.

Hurricane Katrina v.s. Hurricane Andrew

Hurricane Katrina. It’s impossible to ignore the awe and shock of this storm. What makes this hurricane truly mind-boggling is that not only is it one of the most intense hurricanes in recorded history, it is huge in size.

*Hurricane Andrew was 40 miles wide in diameter.

*Hurricane Katrina is approximately 460 miles in diameter.

Hurricane Andrew in 1992 cost the insurance industry around 20 billion dollars. So far Katrina has cost between 1 and 2 billion when it hit Florida last week. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of the Gulf Coast.

Whoa... this is sucks!
