Kansas college basketball, still one hell of an experience

Well dudes, just so you know there won’t be any blog posts today other than this one. I just got home from one heck a college basketball game with my roommate, Kansas vs. Missouri (which KU won 80-77). For those of you who know me personally or have read about it in previous blog posts I’m a proud KU alumnus. The KU vs. MU rivalry is one of the oldest in the country. I’m reserving my right to gloat about my college alma mater, so be warned…

KU alumni are fiercely proud of our town, our school and our sports programs (win or lose). Narrow-minded? No way. Kansas has arguably the longest, proudest, and most rich tradition/heritage in basketball than any other sports program. Period.

Anyways, the game was a great time… I had a trip down memory lane standing in line for almost an hour with all the student ‘campers’ for the game (freezing my a** off). Check out the video below of the last few seconds of the game. To this day, there still isn’t a venue like Allen Fieldhouse that comes close to providing the most intense ‘sports experience’. Great times, and great basketball. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
