4x4 Jeep has some troubles- in icy water

Here is a pictorial view of what NOT to do when you have a kick-ass 4WD Jeep.

Notice the Jeep is “high centered” on this slope.

The owner 'accidently' drives it down this hill trying to get it out.

The Jeep then gets stuck in the pond of ice.

It keeps getting worse...

...and worse.

Ice blocks start breaking the windows...

Is it panic time yet?

Fire eater catches strippers boobs on fire

A fire eater has been given a suspended jail sentence for setting a stripper's boobs on fire.

Dancer Maria Leeb, 27, was tied to a pole wearing just her g-string while her fire-eating partner blew flames at her. While in a lap-dancing club in Augsburg, Germany, her naked breasts went up in flames.

Flame thrower Marc Miszler, 22, was handed a 10 month suspended jail sentence for grievous bodily harm.

"I shouted at him that he was getting too close, but he didn't stop. The oil and glitter that I rubbed on my body must have caught on fire and all I could see were flames," said Ms Leeb. She suffered burns across her breasts and was treated at a local hospital.

Do I really need to comment on how funny this is? I mean- honestly, if a “fire eater” and a stripper are put in the same room at anytime, something really interesting is bound to happen. I wish I was there to see this. Priceless. Click here to read the article.

Dude, thats a lot of blue balls...

Bicyclist tries to beat a train... dies trying

A man died on his bicycle Saturday night when he tried to beat a train to a railroad crossing and was rammed by the locomotive.

Guy Merkle, 39, was ridding his green Mongoose bicycle south on a highway toward the railroad crossing. Witnesses told investigators that the man began peddling furiously as he approached the tracks, trying to beat an oncoming Florida East Coast Railways engine.

Witnesses said the gates at the crossing were down with lights flashing, and the train repeatedly blew its horn. The man continued to peddle. The engine hit him at 7:11 p.m. and sent his body flying 108 feet.

Hmmm… wouldn’t you be able to tell at some point, that there is no way you could beat this train? I mean, why wouldn’t you just turn the bicycle sideways right before you crossed the track and jump off!?! Maybe its one of those you had to be there to know what exactly happened things… whatever. Guy trys to commit suicide, but fails

Ok, the description of this video sound a lot worse than it really is. I promise this video is not gruesome or graphic. With that said, check out this guy who supposedly tries to commit suicide- but fails miserably trying to do it. He ‘supposedly’ had just murdered someone, and the cops came so he jumped on to a roof and started going ‘crazy.’ Click here to watch the video.

The unhappy Snowman likes sniff drugs

If you see a kid or an adult walking down the street with a 'cute' snowman on their shirt- you might think twice about what they’re really wearing.

A rapper named “Young Jeezy” started giving out the shirts as a promo for his new album. Now Young Jeezy is getting the negative attention for his calling card T-shirt. It may just look like a cartoon image of a snowman with an angry grin, but the image made popular by Jeezy symbolizes someone who sells cocaine, or in ‘street slang’ = snow. Schools across the country are banning it, which of course is the best marketing publicity anyone could ever want.

The coolest 3D Holographic Projectors ever

So I remember hearing about this performance a couple days ago- it concerns the mutated “hip-hop, trip-hop, dub sound” band the Gorillaz. They performed at the MTV Europe awards live. You may ask, what’s so special about that. Well if you’ve ever watched a Gorillaz music video, you’ll notice you never see the actual band. The band claims by being an animation, it allows them to create “something which ultimately would have a life of its own.” So it sparked a lot of attention when people heard that these guys would be playing live at the MTV music awards (let alone they just announced they are touring).

Anyways, these guys performed using 3D holographic projectors. Yes that’s right. After you watch the video it’s kind of hard to believe that these projectors exist (try googling it- you’ll come up with a lot of results). To cut to the chase, you really just have to see the video to believe it. Click here to watch the Gorillaz 3D holographic projectors (note the real people who come on stage to perform with them are a rap group called
De La Soul)

Lizard + Pork Chops = total awesome chaos

This video is taken from a crazy ass ‘Fear Factor’ like TV show except its only for kids. These young girls have put their head into a 'cage' with a live lizard. Each girl has a pork chop tied to their head. The girl who keeps her head in the 'cage' the longest wins the prize... sounds pretty cool doesn’t it? Click here to see what happens with the lizard...

Talking to random strangers on a payphone

So I was referred to this website that has a pretty clever premise. The idea is that a payphone number somewhere in America is posted on the website. Pictures are posted of the payphone and website visitors are invited to call the payphone. The catch is you must share your experience about the phone call. The result is some pretty interesting stuff (I talked to some dude traveling around the country with a band). Pretty interesting stuff, its amazing what people will tell without even knowing who is on the other end of the phone. Also consider, when you pick up a random ringing payphone- your accepting the possibility of anything happening. Even though this website isn’t the first to be based on this concept (several have tried this, but failed to keep running the site)- it’s still very interesting. Click on the images below to see what the latest payphone number to call is.

So corny it's actually funny

Introducing Huggies 'Thong' Diapers...

Maybe I could be wrong about the fact that SNL isn’t funny anymore… this video is a ‘parody’ commercials for Huggies Diapers… except instead of normal diapers- they’re thongs. Good for a chuckle. Click here to watch the commercial.

Upside down Christmas Trees for sale?

So I’m really not sure if this is a ‘hot’ thing for the holiday season… but have you ever heard of people who hang their Christmas tree upside down? Well I haven’t- until today. Apparently it’s becoming more and more common. However, this practice dates back all the way to the 12th century, where it was normal to hang it upside-down from ceilings in Central Europe, as a symbol of Christianity.

Anyways, if you go to stores like Hammacher Schlemmer you’ll notice that they can't even keep its $599.95 pre-lit model in stock. It's already sold out.

Target also has three such upside-down trees available online ($299.99-$499.99) on its website. Their clever marketing staff writes in the product description, "Leaves more room on the floor for gifts!" Crazy, yet not so crazy… I think I might try this out this year. I’m still a little confused on how you actually hang these from the ceiling (without doing any permanent damage). Click here to look at Targets upside down Christmas trees for sale.

The iPod will never succeed in the market...

So it’s always funny to look back in time to see what people said before the release of a revolutionary product. Take for example the iPod. These comments are from an online forum- the users are commenting right before the first release of the iPod (circa October 2001). It’s pretty funny what people thought of the iPod before it even came out…

*iPoop... iCry. I was so hoping for something more.

*Great just what the world needs, another freaking MP3 player. Go Steve! Where's the Newton?!

*iTunes 2 has just been announced. It looks really cool

*I still can't believe this! All this hype for something so ridiculous! Who cares about an MP3 player? I want something new! I want them to think differently! Why oh why would they do this?! It's so wrong! It's so stupid!

*$400 for an Mp3 Player!?!

*I'd call it the Cube 2.0 as it wont sell, and be killed off in a short time...and it's not really functional.*All that hype for an MP3 player? Break-thru digital device? The Reality Distiortion Field™ is starting to warp Steve's mind if he thinks for one second that this thing is gonna take off.
