She's a teacher by day, porn star by night.

An Italian teacher has been suspended from school because of her extra-curricular activities as a porn star, local authorities announced Thursday.

The out-of-hours behavior of Anna Ciriani, who calls herself "Madameweb" in hard-core videos on the Internet and at erotic shows, was "not compatible with educational activity," the head of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia education authority said.

"I am a normal woman, with my family and my work as a teacher. I am (also) looking for transgression and sex." » Full article here

Teacher resigns after going on date with porn star.

A high school art teacher who went on a date with a porn star after winning a satellite radio contest has resigned. Jaison Biagini traveled to St. Petersburg, Fla., last month after winning the date on the Sirius satellite radio show "Bubba the Love Sponge."

The school board voted Tuesday to accept his resignation. Biagini, who taught art for 14 years at Monessen High School, said he entered the contest because he wanted to win the free trip and visit the Salvador Dali museum in St. Petersburg. Teacher pulls knife on her students? WTF?

Joyce Tyree, a science teacher at Culpeper County High School, is being investigated on accusations of brandishing a knife during class last week.

Students in the class allegedly kept asking her questions and one asked if she wanted a hug. When some students left their seats to come forward, Tyree reportedly displayed the knife and told them to sit down.

The Department of Social Services “received a complaint from the school administration last week and the issue is under investigation,” DSS Director Lisa Peacock said. “We are working on it. It is a Virginia code-mandated requirement that in any situation with a caretaker of children that possibly involves harm or threats to those children, Child Protective Services must be called.” Full article here.
